Help is on the way for inmates at Leprosy Hospital, Ekpene Obom in Etinan Local Government Area as Rt.Hon Samuel Ikon meets With Yohei Sasakawa, Chairman of NIPPON FOUNDATION at the ongoing 135th International Parliamentary Union in Geneva.
NIPPON FOUNDATION is reputed for Providing free drugs globally for the treatment of Leprosy.
It could be recalled that Rt. Hon Samuel Ikon had marked his 42nd birthday with inmates of the Leprosy center in Etinan where he promised to add value to their lives from the National Assembly.
The ongoing 135th IPU conference has provided the much awaited opportunity which he intends to explore that will bring succor to leprosy patients at Ekpene Obom.
Rt.Hon Samuel Ikon who represents Etinan Federal Constituency at the National Assembly represented Nigeria at a working lunch meeting on Leprosy and Human rights organized by the IPU to create awareness on Leprosy and new grounds for combating and containing the disease.
