"Governor Udom Emmanuel is a great technocrat and that was recognised earlier enough in the life of this present administration (APC). He was so appreciated and given high profiled assignments and that is a function of his antecedents.
Governor Udom Emmanuel has impacted on a global stage. When AT and T, in America needed to be restructured, one of the global leaders invited to come on board, a think-tank, to turn around that particular Industry, was Gov. Emmanuel.
He speaks the language of the international market place, so coming from that height, it was not a surprise for our national prayers to tap into his resource base and use that national asset.
But because a prophet does not attract enough honour in his home town, back here, we have people who take potshots at his (Gov. Emmanuel's) already established pedigree and try to detract from it, for cheap political points.
Unfortunately, we have gone beyond that era. We are looking at the way forward, these people are left behind.
When you climb a ladder, the man on top is higher and the ones that are below try to pull him down, but no amount of dirt and mock wrecking can help in this wish.
We are blessed, at this point in time, to have a man wired up for the present economic circumstances that we find ourselves.
Tomorrow in the hands of God, but for today, we have no better option, than, Governor Udom Emmanuel."
